Dartmouth Museum is a charity open to membership for those with an interest in local r maritime history, and a wish to contribute to an important part of the town. We value membership as it contributes to the Museum’s financial security and also gives us a network of supporters who can help in any number of ways. Some members, who are local, become volunteers (hyperlink), while others support us remotely through activities like fundraising or social media promotion – any help and support is much appreciated!

Members of the Museum benefit from being able to visit any time during opening hours, free of charge. They may also work in the Museum Library, which is on the third floor, and borrow books from our extensive collection of local history reference titles.

The Museum keeps in touch with members through regular newsletters, and get togethers, after the AGM in May and at Christmas.
